How do I book a session?

Booking a session is easy. Simple fill out the contact form here on the website, or text me directly at 845 461 8041 and let me know what type of session you are interested in. Then, we will select an available date and time that works for you. After I receive your non refundable  retainer fee, I will send you a confirmation text to you with details regarding your session.

What happens after the session?

After the session, I  perform an advanced hand edit on each of your images before delivering your final gallery. Those images will be sent to you through an online gallery that is password protected. Please allow about one week after the session for your gallery to be sent to you.

What happens if I'm running late?

I have a 15 minute grace period for tardiness. If a client shows up 15 min after the scheduled session, the session will automatically be cancelled and need to be rescheduled for another date and time.  Lateness disrupts the quality of the photos being taken and also interferes  in my schedule for the day. For this reason, I highly recommend showing up at least 10 min prior to your appointment session in order to take full advantage of our session.

Where does the session take place?/Do you have a studio?

Typically, sessions can take place outdoors,  clients are welcome to my in home studio. For outdoor sessions, I can recommend different locations or clients can let me know if they have a specific place they have in mind.

Do you offer mini sessions?

I do offer stylized mini sessions a few times a year. Please follow my facebook and instagram page in order to stay up to date on those particular sessions.

What does it mean when you "Hand Edit" an image?

Don't all photographers edit the same way?Every photographer has their own method for shooting and editing, depending on their style. I prefer to hand edit my images, meaning I utilize two separate professional grade software programs to fine tune each individual image. Although this editing style is time consuming, I feel it allows me to produce the best images for my clients.

What if my child/children become uncooperative and start crying during the session?

I'm a mama myself, so I totally understand. I love getting to know my clients' kids, that being said I approach each session as a new friend who is just there play and have a good time. As a mama, patience is key and sometimes kids just need a break during the session, or they need to get acclimated to their  new environment. I make every effort to create a relaxing and fun experience that doesn't overwhelm children. The most important thing I can say is that children feed off of the emotions of those around them, so if we stay calm, kids usually tend to calm down as well. Remember the goal is to capture authentic moments. Sometimes candid shots make the best photos.
